It's Vintage Thingies Thurday!!!!!
Vintage Thingies Thursday is hosted by the "Apron Queen" at An Apron A Day.
Here is my contributiton this week. This is a salesman's sample dishwasher
from the 50's!! How hilarious is that???? ;o) Can you imagine being a
1950's housewife, opening the door to a salesman with a mini dishwasher strapped
to his chest??!! This model still has the strap intact. And get this.....
It even works!!!!!! The mini dishwasher is mounted on a wooden box with a motor
inside. It's a top loader and the top rack comes out, Just like the full size
version. The slogan on the label reads........
...."The Greatest Helper A Housewife Ever Had".....ROFL!!!!! ;-D

Oh Lord! That is just hilarious! Love it. My post today was about a vintage washing machine. How far we have come! :D
For your daily dose of vintage goodness & a bit of silliness, stop by Confessions of an Apron Queen, the home of Vintage Thingies Thursdays.
This is really amazing to see
this! I guess actually seeing
the product helped sell it, but
the poor salesman, lugging it
door to door!
What a fascinating item!
That is so cool that it still works!! I know my mom had a countertop dishwasher in 1972, and it was pretty big. Very cool! How things have changed over the years!
What a lovely Blog you have.. Keep up the good work.

Thank you all so much for all the nice comments!!!
Lidian to answer your question, I found this little treasure at a local second-hand store in my home-town of Griffin, Georgia. The name of the store is "Jan's Used Furniture", right across from our courthouse. I have found lots of goodies there.
Thanks again!!!
Hugz,
Kristine
What a great find! Not something from my dad's basement, that's for sure!
